Katja Bierau, Ph.D., Director, Research and Development

Dr. Bierau, Director Research and Development since August 2003, earned a Ph.D. degree in Cancer Studies from Birmingham University (UK), and an MSc degree in Biotechnology (Bingen, Germany).

Most recently she was Group Leader ADMET at PamGene International in The Netherlands developing gene-based high-throughput screening assays used for pre-clinical drug development.

Previously, Katja was R&D Manager at Phase-1 BioResearch in Belgium where she was responsible for research projects identifying molecular markers indicative for drug side effects.
